- My approach -

In short, our therapy would be a collaborative process. It can be short-term, with a more solution, action focus; or long-term, especially if you are looking to explore, understand and transform complex circumstances, aspects of character, or history

It is a space for you to express your thoughts and feelings with unconditional acceptance and non-judgement. I will be alongside you, as you explore your life's experiences and aspirations (and frustrations and anger!), and shape your own path forward, building up and upon your own understanding, internal resources and potency to make the changes you want for your life.

For my part, I engage through a relational integrative approach: meaning I draw from a tapestry of therapeutic models (this includes Psychodynamic, Gestalt, Transactional Analysis, Person-centred) and genuinely meet you as another human being, as opposed to perhaps a more clinical environment.

Particular areas where I have worked with before include:

Anxiety, depression, bereavement

Relationship issues, separation, divorce

Trauma and PTSD, impact of childhood abuse in adult life

Life transitions - leaving home, redundancy, retirement, childbirth, parental death

Workplace stress, work-life balance, performance anxiety

Existential crisis, feelings of alienation

Childhood issues

Post-natal concerns, including depression

Substance abuse

Identity & Sexuality

- Experience & Training -

I studied at the Metanoia Institute, London, and after completing a certification in Therapeutic Counselling in 2018, I undertook a further PG Diploma in Humanistic Psychotherapeutic Counselling.

Concurrently with my practice I continue to study, with my fifth year of my Masters, Humanistic Integrative Psychotherapy MSc, completing in 2025.

In addition to my private practice, I also work for a counselling clinic in Woking. I have previously worked in general therapy clinics in West London and Portsmouth, Hampshire.

I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), and abide by their Ethical Framework.

I have Professional Indemnity and Liability Insurance.

Prior to training and working as a therapist, my first career was in marketing and media production, in London and overseas.
